OS is one of the first punk-rock bands in USSR ever!
"Raegan and Andropov f*cked the whole Europe" (Military Monarchy),
for 30 years that was the only phrase that only the real punk rock fans in Russia would chain to the name of the band.
"Selferadication Dpt." was founded in the 1983 by Feddy "Begemot", and along with a partner-band "People's Army" (Народное Ополчение) was making records at the underground punk studio called Begemotion Records, at the Feddy's home. The studio used 6mm home tape recorder for making records and copying releases. "Selferadication Dpt." released few singles and three albums with free distribution among friends and punk rock music fans. In the 1984 the anarch-punk band was banned by the KGB for its radical anti-soviet lyrics. Since then Feddy made couple of punk records for "People's Army" and other punk bands and closed the studio for punks. Feddy remains a punk by nature, writes and performs experimental music as FEDDY.
